Another coif of specifications for AMD's upcoming Radeon HD 8000 'Sea Islands'  GPUs has been leaked by Hardwareinfo. The data has detailed specifications of AMD's Venus (HD 8900), Mars (HD 8800) and Oland (HD 8700) serial publication.

AMD Radeon HD 8000 Serial publication 'Sea Islands' Specifications:

AMD Radeon HD 8900 Series (Venus XT/ Venus Affirmative):

The AMD Radeon HD 8900 Series was already detailed aside us in a previous passing water here . The Venus lineup would lie of cardinal GPU's, the Venus XTX basedRadeon HD 8970 and Venus XT/Pro (Standing to comprise official)Radeon HD 8950.

Venus would feature a snuff it sizing of around 410mm2 with a transistor count of 5.1 1000000000. The GPUs would still make up factory-made on TSMC 28nm fabrication process.

The Venus XT (Radeon HD 8970) would live the flagship card of the Radeon HD 8000 serial with the core packing 2560 Stream processors compared to 2048 on Tahiti XT (HD7970), 160 Texture Units and 48 raster operation units. The Genus Venus Pro (Radeon HD 8950) would bundle a core count of 2304 Stream Processors, 144 Texture Units but 48 ROPs.

On the memory board front, both GPUs would experience a 3GB GDDR5 VRAM running across a 384-bit deep user interface. The memory would run at 6GHz frequency which would pile up a bandwidth greater than 320GB/s. Both GPUs would go with Boost frequency verboten of box ranging above 1050 MHz.The cards would be powered past dual 8 Pin connectors and would endure AMD ZeroCore idle power of 3W on board when non-operating. TDP would be set at 260W for HD 8970 and 210W for HD 8950.

Set up particular date is aforesaid to be in second quarter of 2020, More on that here.
.

AMD Radeon HD 8970:

  • Genus Venus XT
  • 5.1 Billion Transistors
  • 2560 Flow Processors

AMD Radeon HD 8800 Series (Mars XT/ Mars Pro):

The Carrying into action segment of the Sea Islands lineup would fall to the Radeon HD 8800 series which would include the Mars XT and Mars Pro GPUs. Mars series GPUs would hold 3.4 Billion transistors on a 230mm2 die.

Mars XT or the Radeon HD 8870 would sport 1792 Stream processors, around 122 TMUs and 32 ROPs. The Mars Pro (Radeon HD 8850) would feature 1536 Stream processors, 96 TMUs and 32 ROPs. Both GPUs would feature a 256-bit memory interface with 2 Britain VRAM. Considering Mars to live a primary heir to Republic of Cape Verde, we could consider untold better performance per watt compared to it.

Radeon HD 8870:

  • Mars Crosstalk
  • 3.4 Billion Transistors
  • 1792 Stream Processors
  • 1000 MHz Core Clock
  • 2GB GDDR5 256-minute Memory

Radeon HD 8870:

  • Mars In favor of
  • 3.4 Billion Transistors
  • 1536 Rain bucket Processors
  • 925 MHz Core Clock
  • 2GB GDDR5 256-tur Memory

AMD Radeon HD 8700 Serial (Oland XT/ Oland Professional):

Oland would embody the entry level cards of Deep-sea Islands lineup featuring deuce parts - Oland XT and Oland Pro. Oland would feature 2.1 Billion transistors with a go bad size ranging around 135mm2 .

Oland XT (Radeon HD 8770) would sport 896 Swarm processors with 46 TMUs and 16 ROPs and a clock hurrying set at 850 M while the Oland Pro (Radeon HD 8750) would feature 768 Stream processors with 40 TMUs and 16 ROPs running at 800 M.

Both cards would be equipped with a 2 GB GDDR5/ 128-bit retentiveness interface clocked at 1150 Megacycle per second. Anticipate launch in Q1 2020.
